Come Home to Your Body
Embodied Body Image Coaching is a spiritually grounded, nervous system-informed journey to heal body shame, reconnect with your intuition, and experience your body as sacred — not something to fix.
If you’re tired of fighting your body…
If you feel disconnected, critical, or ashamed…
If you want more than surface-level confidence tips…
Then this is your invitation to return.
- You feel at war with your body
- You’ve tried diets, mindset work, or affirmations — and still feel disconnected
- You struggle with comparison and shame
- You overthink how you look in photos or rooms
- You feel numb, critical, or hyper-aware of your body
- You want a deeper, spiritual reconnection — not another “love yourself” talk
Most body image struggles aren’t about appearance

At some point, you may have learned:
- It wasn’t safe to be fully seen.
- Your worth depended on how you looked.
- Controlling your body felt like control over your life.
- Numbing out was safer than feeling.
And so you left your body.
Not because you’re vain.
Not because you lack discipline.
But because your system was protecting you.
What if body image isn’t something to fix
but a relationship to heal?
What if your body is not the problem
but the place you return to?
This program isn’t about loving your reflection.
- Regulating your nervous system
- Releasing inherited shame
- Reclaiming body trust
- Reconnecting with sensation
- Experiencing your body as home

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
This program is not therapy.
It is a guided, growth-oriented coaching experience focused on embodiment, reconnection, and integration.
Therapy often focuses on diagnosis, mental health treatment, and processing past trauma.
This coaching container focuses on present-moment embodiment, nervous system awareness, and spiritual reconnection with the body.
Both are valuable. They simply have different intentions.
Therapy is designed to:
- Treat mental health conditions
- Process trauma and past experiences
- Diagnose and clinically assess
- Provide treatment planning
- Work within a medical or healthcare model
This Coaching Program is designed to:
- Support reconnection with your body
- Build nervous system awareness skills
- Strengthen self-trust and embodiment
- Integrate spiritual and somatic practices
- Support growth, identity shifts, and daily rituals
We are not treating pathology.
We are cultivating relationship.
What if I have an eating disorder?
This program:
- Does not diagnose or treat eating disorders
- Is not a substitute for mental health treatment
- Is not crisis support
- Is not medical care
If you are experiencing active eating disorder behaviors, severe depression, or trauma symptoms that feel destabilizing, therapy or specialized treatment would be more appropriate support.
Coaching is for women who are stable enough for growth-focused work.
I am available to speak with you about whether this program is right for you or if it can function as an addition to your current therapy work. Generally this will not be for you if you are:
Actively purging
Severely restricting food intake
Have frequent uncontrolled bingeing
Had recent suicidal ideation
Active trauma destabilization
Dissociation that interferes with daily function
Untreated PTSD with flashbacks
If any of these are you, feel free to contact me to help you identify other sources of support or therapist in your area.
Do I need yoga experience?
No experience is needed. Yoga simply means to ‘connect’ – the word yoga comes from a Sanskrit word that means to yoke, to unite. We will be using techniques to connect, build awareness and insight rather than trying to engage in a physical workout. We can adjust yoga to be done while sitting in a chair, so no need to worry about your abilities or experience.
How much time does this require?
We will meet for 1 hour per week for the 8 weeks of the program. However, to get the full benefit you should plan to devote some time during each week to self reflection and practicing the skills we cover in that week’s session. This will be an investment of your time, but one that will pay off with commitment.
Is this religious?
It is about connecting and building awareness. If you have religious beliefs you may find that they are helpful in this program. However, the program is powerful with no religion or belief system attached. We will use:
Meditation
Breathwork
Gentle movement
Reflective journaling
Nervous system education…which are compatible with all belief systems and also work from a secular point of view.
Will we talk about weight?
I will not be asking you to focus on weight unless that is important to you. However, we can often get caught up in the trap of an ‘ideal weight’ and that can disconnect us from our body. So, we will consider how beliefs and attitudes about weight affect us and how to reshape these beliefs for healing body image.
