Counseling FAQ

Check out the commonly asked questions here or contact me to set up a no-cost consultation for more information.

How long do sessions last?

Sessions last between 45-50 min and typically begin on the hour. How many sessions you need will depend on your individual needs. Therapy can be short and solution-focused or take longer. I will discuss your preferences and my recommendations with you in the first consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

I am out of network with insurance plans. I can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company before booking a session to find out what compensation you are entitled to for psychotherapy under your insurance plan. There are benefits to choosing an out of network provider for your psychotherapy. You can explore these by visiting the Services and Pricing page.

How much will counseling cost?

You can find the fees for my services here. The total cost will depend on whether you use insurance or not, which services you choose and how many sessions. You can also learn more about your rights to a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act here.

What should I do if I have a complaint?

Complaints against a therapist may be made through the Texas Behavioral Health Council. You may find the online complaint form here. Or you may reach them by mail:
